Hello everyone, this week was really good! We had a zone conference and interviews on wednesday this past week and it was really so uplifting and full of revelation! I love the Hendersons and I am going to miss them when they go home! They have been so good to me and I know that they are called of God. The new president and wife are the Mcswains...I'm not sure when they are coming in to the mission, but it might be pretty soon! I'm excited and I know that they will be great!
I translate the stake conference meeting this weekend and it went pretty well! It was really hard and I have never translated for more than an hour straight, but I really felt the gift of tongues! I really love translating. It has been so fun and good practice for me and the recent converts in our ward are able to understand the messages! Its a win both ways!
This week has been pretty tough for finding new investigators cause our teaching demographic of students is all tied up with final exams...but I have so many phone numbers with notes next to them that say "After june 20"....so if I stay after transfers, we might see some growth around here....We were dropped twice due to the tests this past week, so our only investigator is Harry. But he brought a friend to our last meeting and that friend is also Korean! And he wants to learn more too! So nice work Harry for doing some missionary work haha. We taught the word of wisdom on friday and Harry said he might have some troubles giving it up.. it is tough to motivate him to, because he still isn't too sure about God...We hope that this week he will continue to progress even though he may not make that goal of the 18th.
This is the last week of the transfer and we are going to make it a strong six!! Looking forward to doing some more finding here in the Gold Coast! Love you all and have a good one!

Answers to questions:
1 - What was something interesting you learned or read in study this week?
Answer: Favorite thing that I read this week? Well I really like Ether 12...I read that this week and there were a lot of insights that I have never seen before. I was kind of having a rough time with rejection (shocker ;)) but I thought that verse 2 and then 5 (I think) were very intersting. It talks about the power of Ether in verse 2. Talks about his strength of conviction and how no one could stop him...and I've read that before and I was always just kind of like, well that is well and good...but I had never really read verse five that pretty much says "everyone rejected Ether"...and I was just kind of like...ah man...I'm no ether, but everyone is still rejecting him...So it just made me stop and think about how we are all in different situations....Ammon left and converted a nation and Ether went and was rejected by everyone he talked to....there testimonies were of the same God and by the sounds of it, they both had a strong conviction....just different situtions...it is amazing how the Lord taliors revelation to me! I love it! Also, I read a little bio of Elder Stevenson in the ensign that I would recommend!
2 - Do you ever go out to eat?
Answer: Yes we do!! Sometimes...We usually go to a chicken place called nandos! It is really good! Hahah we just buy like 2 chickens and then heaps of chips (fries)...I've had to learn to say chips everywhere here cause when I say fries everyone is like "oh he is american"....but usaully they think I'm canadian hahaha....That is, if I'm not speaking Chinese.
3 - Where do you do your grocery shopping?
Answer: At a place called Coles...it is pretty much like Smiths...yes it does...except for canned chicken...Australia is just a backward civilization or something...but other than that it is good!! Hahahah yeah sometimes we have treats!! Lots of times we eat at memebers too....so that helps...but I have decided that studying is more important than eating good food haha...so most lunches I study characters for like 40 minutes then have a peanut butter sandwich...then dinners are pretty much the same hahha...but its all good!
