This past week was pretty rough in Sunnybank. We had a lot of investigators drop us and Joy decided that she didn't want to meet with us anymore cause school starts soon and she thinks that she is wasting her time now....It was really hard to see Satan working in her life like that.
In other news, I got transferred to the Gold Coast, so that is really fun! I am really excited and the ward here seems like they will be great! I can't wait to see how things are here and I'll have more for you next week!
This past week we had a worldwide missionary training and I learned a lot! the theme was that we teach repentance and baptize converts. I think that sometimes I am really worried about the numbers in missionary work. But I really learned that as I go out and do my best to fulfil my purpose, teaching repentance and striving to baptize converts, I am successful! I am really excited to start up here in the gold Coast!
Shout out to Athens and my bro Tate! Happy Birthday to you guys!!!! Have a great week everyone!

Just an update. We went into our lesson with Joy really stoked and ready to invite her to be baptized. then she basically told us that she no longer has a desire and she doesn't have time for us. We were both heartbroken and our moods just died after that lesson. It was seriously such sorrow. Ahh Sunnybank was hard. But now I'm in the Gold Coast! Yes, I got transfered today and I am in Mudgreeba Chinese with Elder Liao. He is from taiwan and that is great because I've heard that the Chinese people here are a little bit scarce. We only have 5 Chinese investigators here at the moment...(but that is more than we had in sunnybank, so i'm not complaining) hahah but yeah. We have a couple of baptismal dates that we are really going to work toward. Elder Liao was in my intake, so we are both the exact same age....really young hahha. but no worries!
Hoverboards??? They have invented those?? How long have I been gone?? Hahah that is so crazy! That is pretty fun though! thanks for the reminder! Tell him happy birthday and I'm going to give him a shout out in my email, so no worries! I am really excited for the life here in Gold Coast! Love you!
