Hello everyone! I don't have tons of time this week, but I have a really cool story from the other day that I wanted to share! Things are going well in our area and I really love my companion! Hope that things continue to progress!
So just two days ago, we had an appointment at an investigators house in Sunnybank Hills. That is a decent bike ride away, so neither me nor my comp had ever done much tracting or anything in the area. But our investigator told us she would shoot us her address in the day and we could go over there. So I took a picture in our flat the night before of the map and then waited for the text the next day. We got the text and she lived on 2 Pompadour Rd. I scanned the map 3 times very thoroughly, but I could not find Pompadour Rd. I kept looking, but there were heaps of little tiny streets and crazy windy neighborhoods! We were going to be late for our appointment, so I just told Elder Li that we had to go. He was kinda confused, cause we still didn't know where we were going, but we decided that the Lord knew where she lived and He would guide us! So we rode off and once we got into Sunnybank Hills we said a prayer at every light. We didn't really feel anything at any of them. Finally we hit about the 3rd or 4th light and said another prayer. We both didn't feel anything so we decided to keep going straight. So we waited and the stop light was a lot longer than normal. So I started thinking why that might be and I started to have a stupor of thought about going straight. I know that sounds vague, but that is the only way I can describe it. So I thought that we better take a left into a maze of neighborhoods. Well, right as I had the thought, the light switched and I faced a choice. I didn't know if I had received a prompting or if I was just second guessing myself. But, right at the last second, we turned into the maze of neighborhoods and just started to ride. Putting total faith in the Lord was really tough and sometimes I thought that we were just getting lost and we were going to be super late. Finally, after what seemed like a really long time of being in the neighborhood, I felt like we better look at the map again. So I pulled it out and zoomed in and right in front of my face was "POMPADOUR RD." I was so happy! Then my eyes just kind of wandered on one of the side roads to Charteuse street and then to Peppercorn St. I had a distinct thought of "If we knew where Peppercorn street was, then we'd be in business!" Well, the miracles didn't stop there because I looked up from the phone and the next left about 10 feet in front of us was Peppercorn Street! It was so amazing and such a miracle! I know that this is Heavenly Father's work and He works through the missionaries and members together to bring it to pass! I love and miss you all! Have a great week!
