So this week was pretty sick for me! The chinese is coming along and I'm starting to get really excited to get out into the field and teach. In fact, we watched a talk by Elder Holland last night that was called Open Your Mouths. It really pumped me up to go, but I still have a couple of weeks left. I also read all of my friends who are in the field emails' and those get me pretty psyched. Hahah but that's okay. I'm going to need all the preparation here at the MTC that I can get!
Dallin H. Oaks came and talked to us on Tuesday. It was a really great talk and he gave some really good insight on how we can be better teachers through PMG. I can't wait to implement when I get into the field. Also on Tuesday night I saw Kyle Collinsworth in the cafeteria. He was coming to chill with a guy that elder ball knows before he left. So that was crazy weird. We thought that it was so funny how they really don't let anyone into the MTC, but when Kyle Collinsworth wants to come in they usher him in when he is wearing shorts and a T shirt. But that was really sick too.
Anyway, Tanner got here on wednesday and that was really cool! I planned it just right so I got to host him! It was pretty crazy to see my family again. That is where the breaking all sorts of rules comes in. Because technically you're not supposed to have "planned or unplanned visits with family or friends". But oh well. I told my branch president about it and he just thought it was cool haha so hopefully I'm good. It's been great to have him around! He has just been adjusting and I think that he is getting used to it just fine! He is complaining about classes, so thats how we know that he is new. It shouldn't take too long to adjust to 11 hours of studying every day. So hopefully he will lol.
I heard all about the BYU game and I hear that that was pretty awesome. I'm excited for the one in Provo next week haha. Hopefully I'll be able to hear it. I hope that you all have a great week and stay strong! Remember that nothing is impossible when the Lord is on your side! I love and miss you all!
